“It's a family place ”

“This was most interesting stay on my Costa Rica vacation, a somewhat quirky but comfortable beach hotel. My room was clean, spacious, the AC was working well, and the poolside room helped make it pretty quiet (a beach bar was across the street playing music). The bathroom had a jacuzzi style tub with a hand shower, no standup shower which I much prefer. There is no light or switch by the bed, so my cellphone served as a temporary nightlight. The parking garage below the hotel would have been……

“Fidelito is set on a small ridge which affords great views into the trees to see birds and monkeys. The rooms are big and very nice, with a patio that looks into the forest. The owners are wonderful people. There is a garden with a very well appointed outdoor common room. Directions to find the place were accurate and easy to follow. We really loved it.”

“Thomas reminds me of the inn keeper in Local Hero. He is warm and welcoming with a wry perspective. He seems like a happy person, perhaps because he has created a little paradise here in Tambor.”
