“Absolutely beautiful place with amazing food and ambience ”

“This is a great place to stay if spending time in Monteverde or St. Elena as it's centrally located. The room was large, beautiful, and very clean with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Free breakfast was cooked to order, plentiful, and delicious. There are no "views" as it's tucked in against tall trees. Some of the less than 5 stars above are because the check-in staff person woman was rude to us because Expedia said I had already paid half, and Expedia had failed to charge me (from……

“Our six night-stay was delightful. The lodge is superb. Access to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is a 10-minute walk away. Our room was delightful with a grand view of valleys and mountains and tropical plants on the property. We ate breakfast and dinner at the lodge restuarant. Breakfast was outstanding, and the dinner menu was extensive. Every dinner was delicious and expertly prepared.”

Our host was incredibly helpful, sharing there contact info with us, providing advice and ultimately driving us to the airport when the shuttle driver cancelled last minute.
