“We absolutely love this stay. We make several trips to Houghton Lake a year to see our grandkids and kids. The description online does not do this place justice, exceeded above and beyond. ”

“Nice cabin for a couple of families to enjoy a ski weekend. Kitchen was well-equipped and clean. Kids liked the game room. Disappointed that the entrance wasn't shoveled. Icy steps resulted in a slip and fall. Would not advise someone staying if their car doesn't have all-wheel drive as driveway and parking was icy too. Owner does not supply firewood for the fireplace.”

“This is one of the best rentals we have had. The property is clean, the kitchen & bathrooms were very well stocked, the King size bed is amazing - it was like sleeping on a cloud. We loved the 'axe throw' game in the garage so much we ordered one for at home. We had a fantastic time. It's about 23 steps from the lower patio to the lake. Speaking of patios, these, too, were clean & well-furnished. Highly recommend this property.”

“We had a great stay here. The house is well furnished with clean linens and towels for you to use. You could tell the property is cleaned well between renters. The beds and furniture were also all in good shape and not broken down or dirty from over use. It’s well located to several restaurants and to Lyman’s on the lake, which is where you’ll want to go for any fishing needs. ”

“For our purposes this cabin worked out perfectly. Went up for a weekend with friends, didn’t want to spend a ton of time at the cabin other than Sleeping and cooking with our pontoon with us. Cabin was clean, ice cold AC, and “steaming” hot water. Ken was responsive in the only message I had to send him. Only recommendation is if you have a boat or a pontoon, probably best to pay $5 and launch near the marina, 2 minutes away; the launch on the canal is a bit shallow if you have a longer trailer.……
