“We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is older but has all the comforts of home, with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Anytime we needed something, it was there — from toiletries and cooking spices to little candies left for the kids when we checked in.We loved the remote, rural setting — it was peaceful and a great place to unwind after long days of hiking, biking, and exploring the forest. “Pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The unit had everything needed. A nice kitchenette fully stocked for preparing meals. Comfortable seat with fireplace and TV. Beds provided great sleep. Whirlpool in bathroom was a plus. Back porch right along Ohio River. Enjoyed sounds if nature and barges going up and down river. Very restful and relaxing. ”

“We came here for a weekend visit to check out the Shawnee National Forest area and had the best time! The cabin was in vlose proximity to several hiking areas, the amenities were great, and the cabin was very comfortable for what we needed. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!”
