“We originally booked for 3 nights, but loved it so much we extended our stay 2 extra nights. Host was flexible in working with us to negotiate pricing for the extra time. Very responsive, friendly and helpful! Perfect cozy cabin for our family of 5. Cleanliness could’ve been better but nothing major. Microwave handle was broken and legs on the couch were too, didn’t stop our family from having a great time though! Would 100% stay again! ”

“From start to finish, everything about this trip was exceptional. The host, Scot, was amenable, checked in on me thoughtfully, respected my privacy, and communicated clearly throughout. The pictures were accurate, though they didn’t fully capture the beauty of the cabin or the surrounding creek. The cabin itself is lovely — perfect for one or two people. It was spotless (truly impressively clean), with easy-to-use appliances, and the view and atmosphere were incredibly comforting.What stood out……

“This was the perfect cozy cabin for our winter vacation. It is perfect if you love a private peaceful scene in the woods. About 30 minutes from towns. Very comfortable, and the Mary is incredibly responsive and helpful. We went to towns, ice fishing on the private lake, had ourselves a day catching so many perch, and relaxed by the fire inside. Highly recommend if you like the quietness of the woods and being outdoors as lots of trails and hikes to do as well!”

“We stayed in this comfortable cabin on our way home from a family wedding in upstate NY. We live in the White Mountains of NH and wanted to do some hiking in the Adirondacks. Pretty rainy, but we did manage one hike and a short walk on nature trails on Lake Placid. The cabin was just as advertised—cozy, quiet and great location to access trails. Also a nice porch for sitting outside and avoiding the rain drops. Happy to have a Scrabble game to use in the evenings. Highly recommend ”

“We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!”

“What an amazing place to stay! We’ve stayed in many rental homes and this is one of the best! My husband and I traveled with 2 teenagers, 2 grandparents, and a large dog. This one floor home was easy to navigate for the grandparents and had fun loft spaces for the teens to retreat to. 10 minutes to Whiteface mountain and easy to find. Beautiful home with cute decorations - just like in the pictures. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need to create a great family meal. The outdoor……
