The property has multiple cozy seating areas including a large front porch, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is secluded enough to get away from it all, while still being conveniently close to anything you need.The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and took great care with all the details that make a trip memorable. “Our family had a great time at Ladybird Lodge. The original timber house has been updated with plenty of room for our party of six. The property is private, quiet, and surrounded by large trees. We really enjoyed the large, clean, and well lit hot tub. It was outside on the deck with the fire pit and hot tub.The kitchen was well stocked with non perishables, appliances and cookware. The large upstairs bathroom with a brand new walk-in shower. The house was warm and inviting with rustic……

“This is a hidden gem. Great location and it is perfect for a couple or family. My wife and I (just 2) rented the cabin and loved every minute. Hiked in the area for over 20 miles and then you are close to so many other things. One, driving distance to Montreal, Canada where we had a fabulous lunch and shopping and were back at the cabin for dinner. Two, you are so close to Vermont and that is worth the drive because of how beautiful it is. Communication with the owners is 10. We ate breakfast……

“My family and I have stayed in many rentals over the years and by far this one was the best. A mile in on a well maintained camp road, so nicely secluded. No cell service but quality WI FI. The house was so well built and nicely laid out, a pantry with space for our dry goods, well stocked with cleaning supplies and paper products. Quality dinnerware, utensils. The bedding all comfortable and new, plenty of towels and lake towels. Really nice kayaks and a John boat, new life jackets and a dock……

Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Grounds were clean. Brought our dog, Zoey and she enjoyed it too. The getaway we needed. Thank you”
