“Our stay in the Lansdowne was fantastic. From the second we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and our two day stay was so enjoyable. We ate in the cafe and the restaurant and the food was top class. Would recommend a stay in this hotel to anyone visiting Kenmare and the overall cost of our stay was very competitive. We will most certainly be back.”

“This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. ”

But….the view, service and delicious breakfast make up for that. Clientele while we were there was a little bit older but made for a quiet relaxing stay. Book the lake view room! “The Victoria was a lovely experience overall. The renovation and kitschy style of this hotel was really nicely done, but the thing that shines the brightest is the friendliness of the staff. Maura at the front desk was absolutely one of the loveliest people I encountered in all of Ireland. Natalia in the restaurant was also lovely and always greeted us with the most genuine smile. “We chose this hotel because it´s close to National Park and bike rental. We had great experience. Room and bathroom were really big, clean and nice looking, comfortable bed. The hotel is huge with lot of amenities. Breakfast was great and hotel staff is was very nice. 100% would stay again.”
