“The Gillhouse recently was remodeled. The rooms have new carpet, bathroom tile, vanity, paint or wallpaper. The rooms had new HVAC systems, TVs, ceiling fans and new windows with the privacy shade built in. They room style is modern. The property is right on Henderson Bay with beautiful view of the bay from the back porches and restaurant. Since we stayed late or off season the Gillhouse was quiet. “I was greeted and assisted as soon as my car was parked, by the manager, he was kind and very helpful getting me settled with instructions for the room and security. Imagine getting the same kind helpful assistance in the morning before leaving for my family’s holiday's celebrations, and again upon returning later that night! ”
