“La Plume was gorgeous-the best place that we stayed during our journey of the Garden Route. The suites were so nicely appointed and super spacious. The breakfast was delicious and we were disappointed that we missed dinner (it was only a 3-course meal). I loved taking a bath in the beautiful bathroom and went for a run at sunrise through the ostrich farms. It’s only about a half hour from Cango Caves. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. “We stayed here for one night en route to the wine area. Great place to break our journey after driving from Prince Albert, via Swartberg Pass and Cango Caves. Enjoyed a drink on terrace watching sunset over the mountains, before having a lovely meal, cooked and served by the owners. Breakfast on terrace was fresh and tasty too”
