“Not my first rental in the Scotland area and was not disappointed! Jocelyn was communicative and kind and the house was lovely, cozy and clean. The house wasn't 100% ready at check-in, but she gave us advance notice and as it happened, we were running behind anyway. The property is well equipped, steps from the beach, has a beautiful backyard for warmer months, and was a great size for two couples and an infant on a winter retreat.Our only complaints were the tap water (very smelly and not……

We especially enjoyed watching the deer and fiddler crabs. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat.”

The views were spectacular...the host was so friendly and helpful...the kids loved chatting with Mr Chris and meeting his dogs, who were the sweetest welcoming committee. All of the standard amenities were available in the house, as well as extras like board games, good coffee (k cups grounds!) and a small stool in the bathroom for the kids. “We spent a long weekend at this house to escape the hustle and bustle of our busy lives for our wedding anniversary. My favorite parts were watching the sunrise against the Potomac River and relaxing in the hammock. It was so quiet, save for the occasional motor boat cruising by on the far side of the river. The house had all the basic necessities, and met all of our expectations. If you’re looking for a peaceful waterfront getaway, give this house a try. ”
