“We had a wonderful time getting away for a long weekend with family. The house is beautiful and is very clean, bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. The kitchen with large central island was a favorite for hanging out, eating and playing games. The kitchen is appointed with luxury appliances. Having 6 acres of space including a Christmas tree farm was really fun for short walks and exploring. The nights are very dark with no city lights so the stars were really bright. “We have stayed at the Historic Cary House for many years while visiting wine country near Placerville. It is very convenient and walkable to Main Street restaurants and to regional wineries. The hotel is clean and quiet. The front desk manager is very helpful.”

“The house is an excellent rental with a fabulous view. It is very comfortable and is more spacious than the photos convey. We will stay here again when visiting our family. ”

“Wow! The perfect place for a romantic getaway! The grounds and rooms are just gorgeous with spectacular views. The breakfast was the best! So delicious! We just loved the pool with a waterfall and slide. Every touch was amazing - super comfy bed, robes, arriving with the mini fridge already cool, wine glasses and pool towels ready. Our only regret was not booking another night. Can’t wait to return!!”
