“We had a wonderful week at the Log Lodge. This property is very unique and has a lot of history in the house itself and also in the carefully curated collection of art and other fun antique artifacts that the owners have decorated it with. The property itself is larger than most Tahoe area lots, and the dog-friendly policy was wonderful for us. “My fiancé and I stayed for the weekend to celebrate our daughters sweet 16, the kids loved the big lower level set up, with fire pit and ping pong. We were slightly disappointed to find that the art studio was closed for use but I had came prepared and we still painted in the woods. The house was very clean, everything has a place and when I needed cooking spray I had options available. There was plenty of propane and even the driveway was cleaned off prior. “I loved it! It’s really close to palisades Tahoe. It was less than a minute drive (going from one parking lot to another). The room was well equipped with cooking supplies. I did not have to worry about the fire alarm going off when cooking because of how strong the vent worked! The shower is perfect for couples because there’s a shower head on both ends and each side can adjust the temp! Both bed and pull out couch was super comfy! ”

“Very pleasant 3-day stay at the lodge. The 1-bedroom apartment was nicely organized, very plenty of storage room, clean, comfortable. The kitchen contained all necessary appliances and utensils for our meals. Walkable, short distance to Funitel was a big plus, and made our schedule very flexible. Definitely would come back!”

“If you are looking to stay with a large group of friends or family, this is a great property. The lake views from the living room(s), and balcony / hot tub were beautiful. Everyone got their own king sized bed, and there were three separate living areas to hang out in plus a giant kitchen and balconey. The host was responsive and accommodating.
