We appreciated the extra touches like the labels on light switches and cabinets, the soft towels and bathroom rugs, throw blankets near the couches, and even USB charging ports on master bedroom nightstands. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The kids loved the hot tub, playing air hockey, and the board games. “Very cozy spot with all of the thoughtful little touches. Never wanted for a thing or were bothered by a thing. The location is close to any number of easy day trips, but remote enough to “hide” and just hike around the house.”

“Nice, comfortable, cozy cabin with beautiful views/deck with comfy furniture. Communication & checkin great. We had frustration driving out of & back to the cabin when visiting local towns. (Mason Jar, Hillsville, very good, crabcakes, cod sandwich yummy!)GPS & other sources helped, but there was a lot of rerouting & changes in directions as we traveled the winding roads. If there longer, maybe we’d figure things out better.If a wine drinker, pack a good wine opener. Kitchen is very well……

It made for a peaceful stay with no through traffic.We enjoyed having both an indoor and outdoor table to choose from when having snacks in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning. We appreciated that the cottage had both a Keurig type coffeemaker and a drip coffeemaker.We are already discussing another visit and possibly renting all three cottages!”

“The cottages are new and clean. The proximity to the wineries, and especially the Jones von Drehle, which borders the rentals provides entertainment and options for couples needing a break from the stresses of life. Nearby is the town of Elkin, which has nice options for food, wine, breweries, and entertainment. The property owners are communicative and responsive, and very helpful when I left a shirt onsite. I highly recommend these rentals. ”

“Cherry Creek Cabin is tastefully renovated and appropriately appointed. It is quiet, private, and conveniently located a few minutes from Meadows of Dan. The space is small but efficient. We were able to cook a nice Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen as it was well-outfitted with the equipment needed. While we didn’t spend a lot of time outside, there is a grill and fire pit area for outdoor relaxation. The owner is very responsive to questions and concerns, and they provided us with information……
