“This is a neat as a pin, quaint cottage. The lack of a bath/shower and hot water bothered me more than i thought it would. Otherwise, it would be five stars hands down.”

“House is cozy, clean, thoughtfully appointed, and as described, and within a short drive to wineries, Elkin, and hiking. Owner is very responsive. Property is serene next to the river and tucked back behind trees from the road. We went back and forth from heat to air due to varied temperatures and were always quite comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed breakfast at the table with the morning sunshine. Note: there is no dishwasher, ice maker, or in-sink disposal, but we were only……

“It was a nice stay and very unique. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The photos make the place look a bit newer than it is which was fine but we were expecting the place to be much more updated than it was. It still was great and really cozy. Our dog liked the area to run around and the neighbors were very far so it was private and quiet. We liked the smores but there were no smores sticks so we had to go get those which the store is pretty close so no biggie.……
