“We rented this house for a mini getaway for our family and dog. It was adorably decorated and cozy. We loved the little touches that made it special: the old books, the fireplace, the blue themed colors, the fire pit outside.The best part was the view of the lake. My favorite memory was wrapped in a blanked on the porch drinking my coffee overlooking the lake and listening to the birds chirping. ”

“I gave them 5 stars as a courtesy but my true opinion is 4 stars. I found the photos made the place look a lot better/newer than it was. The place was clean and it was close to mystic. The deck is on the side and the house is on a double yellow. I found the photos a little misleading. I thought my kids would have a place to play. Dishwasher wasn’t working. The owner did offer to have someone come fix it but I wasn’t comfortable with a stranger coming during our stay. Bathroom photos show the new……

“The property was very clean. There was a lot of space to spread out in. The beds were very, very comfortable. Bathrooms were totally updated. Enjoyed the fireplace in the dining room area. Furnished in a fun, quirky way. Location was very convenient for visiting the wineries & casinos. Only negative was the house was cold. It took quite alot of time for it to warm up on our first day & it never really got warm enough. Understand because the house is so large & older. The dining room……

“We visited this property for a short stay and it meet our expectations for the value. Contact with host was easy and property manager coordinated return of a personal item we forgot which was so kind.This cottage makes good use of the space and the decore is fun. Pictures make it look slightly larger than it is and all bedrooms are open to other spaces but for our family that was not an issue. The yard is great and having the kayaks and paddle boards on-site is awesome!!! Our tweens and teen……

“Let's start with the good. Convenient location for our son's wedding at Evergreen Farms, lots of space and parking, modern kitchen, working internet and modern TVs (that even allowed streaming from our phones). Easy interactions with both the manager and the owner. Now the not-so-good. First, the owner was supposed to meet us at check-in, but never showed up. We were given the lockbox code so we were able to get in without a problem, but no tour. The odd decor hits you immediately upon entry.……

“This house was amazing and incredible for a girls weekend. Everyone had a comfortable room and bed. Kitchen had all essentials and plenty of space if someone wanted privacy for a bit. This house is also very close to Foxwoods. We did have an issue with using the keypad to get in but the property manager was wonderful and we were able to access the key. The key pad did work using the default code. The lake across the street was nice. The house is very bright it might be good to have shades in……
