“Elliot was available and courteous reservation and check in easy. Upon arrival 1st floor bathroom sink was not draining well, 2nd floor bathroom tub does not drain well hot and cold water are reversed sink water is also reversed. Missing sheet rock in dining room. All walls have either nails popping or water damage. We only slept at the residence one evening. I manage multiple high end properties on Nantucket and maintaining them year round. First impression is Most important to insure future……

“This is a cute, compact 1BR, 1 Bath cottage with great lake access with just a short walk. Good communication from the owner, easy access to Storrs and neighboring towns, and very clean. Loft area has limited space, but the main bedroom is quite comfortable. The only challenges were unrelated to the property (loud neighbors, disputes both nights) and sulfer smell in the water (easily fixed with a Brita pitcher)”

“The property has character. It is charming, clean, and ideally located in a quiet neighborhood . We were able to get to Walmart and Big Y for some snacks and toiletries and to Mohegan Sun for dinner. It was stocked with the necessities and has plenty of space for everyone. We all had a great time. The host was very responsive to all my questions before and during our stay. We would stay there again.”

“This place was absolutely amazing. Not only was the rv clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need the property is breathtaking. Frank the owner came out to greet us and show us the ropes. What a truly amazing couple him and his wife were. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. My family came out to visit and even they couldn’t believe how amazing this spot was. There’s an outdoor fridge and grill so you don’t want or need for……

“Perfect location to see everything we planned in Rhode Island and Connecticut. Communication with Kelly was great, a slight issue with check in, but handled better than we would have expected. The snacks were great to have for our daily roadtrips, nice touch. Did not get a chance to use the spa or clubhouse, so busy enjoying the great outdoors. Would stay agin if ever in the area.”

“The quaint, quiet house and yard were perfect for a peaceful long weekend with family. The house feels private despite being on the main road due to beautiful plants and landscaping. The yard was perfect for the family dog. There are ants, spiders, and a mouse but it's a country house. I was very pleased with the house and thought it was a good value based on what we paid. ”

“One of the nicest places that we have stayed in. Every possible comfort. Old Mystic is lovely-much quieter than the seaport. We prefer it to the port. Our dog Ripley loved the abundant green space next to the house. ”
