“We had a lovely stay. As someone traveling without children, it’s nice to have an adult pool separate from family pool. The staff are very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Although the property restaurants had some nice local options, I was disappointed with restaurant menu options throughout the area. I suppose this is an effort to cater to tourists. Italian food on every menu… I found that strange.”

“We loved our stay in Luxury Standard Room 209 at Tulemar. We saw squirrel monkeys daily from our balcony, and toucans, sloths, scarlet macaws, leaf-cutter ants, frogs, bats, and iguanas on the grounds also. The private beach was never crowded, and we appreciated the complimentary umbrellas and chairs, as well as the ability to order food and drinks from Tule Cafe while on the beach. The Sloth Walk with Pedro was great - we saw at least 10. The food at Tule Cafe was very good - we had……

“We reserved 2 rooms for 4 adults, however they only had one room kept for us when we arrived. The front desk told me they will refund me one of the room payment. I didnot got it 2 weeks later until now.”

“I would like to say the staff was amazing! The second we arrived Dennis got us all checked in and even allowed us to check in early since we had an excursion set up. We got checked in and got to see a Macaw! Room was awesome! Animals all over. We saw a sloth from our balcony. Would book again! ”

“Nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Oscar and a receptionist whose name I didn’t get were particularly helpful. Easy walk to restaurants and grocery stores. Parking available and a fridge in the very spacious room. We would stay here again.”

“The location is wonderful, featuring a very nice beach. The bungalows situated on the hill offer a stunning view; however, the climb to the top can be inconvenient if you have to do it multiple times a day. To reach the beach or the restaurant where breakfast is served, you must cross a street with fast-moving cars. There is no clearly marked crosswalk, making it quite dangerous. Speed bumps are definitely needed in this area.”
