“What an amazing experience staying at Santa Juana Lodge! Myself, my husband and our 2 year old daughter had an amazing time here. The views were incredible, and sleeping in the screened in bedrooms listening to the wildlife was so relaxing. Even though we were here in February it was very comfortable and cool sleeping at night. We arranged transport through Santa Juana Lodge which I would highly recommend. It was nice not having to worry about driving up the mountain. My husband did the birding……

“This hotel was wonderful; the tour guides were particularly knowledgeable and also great with kids! We enjoyed the restaurant and especially the views from the rooms (we had 3, and all were incredible). It is a bit of a walk through the cloud forest to the rooms, but there is help for luggage, and it's exactly the kind of walk you come to Costa Rica to take! Thank you Dantica! ”

“Es ist eine sehr schöne Anlage. Die Zimmergröße ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend. Dass es einen Elektrokamin gibt ist super und nötig. Unser Bett war leider unbequem und hat bei jeder Bewegung geknarzt, so dass der Partner aufgewacht ist. Das Bad sollte dringend erneuert werden. Unser Abendessen war fad und dazu noch teuer. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass es ausgenutzt wird, dass die Gäste auf das Restaurant angewiesen sind.”

“We LOVED Villas Rios Mar on the same level with Banana Azul at Puerto Viejo! We stayed at 5 places in Costa Rica and they were our favorites. The grounds were beautiful. The room AND deck space/setting were wonderful! The only things that were a bit of an issue were the safe never worked for us (poor instructions/key use etc), the closet doors were jammed and unuseful, and we were the farthest room from the front desk/restaurant and had trouble with the WIFI. “Tami lodge is located in a beautiful place far from civilization. We stayed in a glamping tent style that has a lovely shower and two comfortable beds. It was slightly cool at night which I loved because it made it easy to sleep. We needed to cancel the second night because we rescheduled our flight and we got our money back, no questions asked. I highly recommend this place. ”

“This is a wonderful and clean boutique hotel. The last mile and a half drive to the property is a narrow, winding and steep road, but the drive is well worth it. The view from the rooms is spectacular looking out onto the ocean and amazing sunsets. The staff made our stay. The waiters were very friendly and gave us information about the area and wildlife.
