“Upon arrival you’re driven on the golf cart to the top of a rainforest. If you watch carefully you can spot sloths, monkeys, and amazing birds. Our villa was the perfect arrangement for our family and gave us a great place to relax. The master balcony had morning closeup vies if a sweet Scarlet McCaw couple. You could spot monkeys and toucans from the roof terrace. Cabana and dining area on roof were added extra. Staff was super attentive and helpful. Restaurant and especially breakfast……

“Great location! We were able to walk to the park so we didn’t have to deal with parking. Room was nice. Food at the restaurant on site was just ok.”

“The included breakfast is amazing—two courses! The bathrooms/showers are very tight in spacing, but there are bigger bathrooms in the attached restaurant section. Those bathrooms/showers are shared by all in the hostel, including those with private rooms (which was fine, never had to wait to use facilities). There is no A/C, so realize that it can get quite hot in the rooms, especially during the day (it’ll get hotter than outside temp, even with the fan). The host is incredibly friendly. I’d……

“We had such an amazing time at this hotel. It was more than what we expected. We were greeted with monkeys and also found a sloth on the property. Our ocean facing room was honestly a delight to stay at. We would def come back and stay here again!”

“Beautiful property located in a great location. We saw the most wildlife from the hotel and saw all three types of monkeys, scarlet macaws, and yellow-throated tucans, all from our balcony! Lastly, Moses the bartender is phenomenal and a great host, and very welcoming. Could not recommend a better place than Ecotica! ”
