“Staff on reception and at breakfast were very polite and welcoming. They gave us our VIP welcome gifts and room upgrade. The room was spacious and had good air conditioning. A little dated in places, but overall very good. Clean sheets and towels. The area was a little out of the centre, with a more local feel; but it felt as safe as any larger city would in the daytime and evening. 15 minutes walk to the bus stations. “Superb property up on the Uvita mountains. As long as you have a 4x4, getting there is a fun ride. Staff was great and the spa facilities are really nice. The only thing keeping me from returning for a whole remote work week is the internet speed. It was spotty and not reliable for a prolonged work stay.”

“A stunning place! The bar/restaurant and pool area are truly breathtaking and have been done to a very high standard. The staff were all fantastic and the food was generally good. There is lots to explore locally including the free waterfalls you can access from the hotel, a bigger waterfall further down the hill which id definitely recommend and Marino Ballena National park.
