“We enormously enjoyed our stay at Oxygen Villas. The staff was wonderful, the rooms and view of the Pacific were spectacular, and the food and drinks were delicious. We especially enjoyed walking the trails and enjoying the natural pools and waterfalls on the property. One of the most enjoyable stays I have ever experienced. ”

Getting there was part of the adventure—a scenic four-hour drive from the airport, with the final stretch on a gravel road through rain and cows! But once we arrived, we were welcomed into a peaceful paradise. Our private casita had stunning views of the rainforest and distant Pacific, and we were surrounded……

“Staff very friendly and helpful, peaceful setting, wonderful views from room, dining area and the pool, which was great! Place in ceiling where there has been a leak needs to be addressed due to what appears to be mold, but overall this was a wonderful restorative stay and we hope to return!”

“Service was great. The property is beautiful. The only issue was Wi-Fi kept going in and out. But other than that, we were very happy. The town of Dominical is a minute up the road, it’s adorable. Manuel Antonio and Uvita are also just an easy drive away.”

“Loud construction work on the bungalow next to ours for two days of our three day stay. Drilling, metal grinding, hammering, etc. Oven door in our kitchen was broken, so we couldn't use that either. Asked for a different bungalow but didn't get one. Pool was semi-clean. Hotel.com customer service was also unwilling to help. Will use a different platform for the next booking. ”

“Ok so I literally never leave hotel reviews but that changed after staying at Kura! First, I must inform you that it’s a trek to get there driving wise (have them come pick you up) but once you get there OMG! The ambiance is insane and they undoubtedly have the best view in Uvita! Hands down! It doesn’t even matter which room you get. If you are lucky enough to get the room with the shower with the view of the ocean I promise you, you won’t want to leave! We didn’t either! The food was amazing!……
