“This house is truly one of a kind. It felt like stepping into The Croods (the movie)—living in a cave, but an incredibly luxurious one! “Chef Fran was truly a fantastic cook. The meals were the best we had all of our two weeks of travel in Costa Rica. The location was beautiful and so was the architecture. We felt a bit constrained by the three meals being included in the price of our room. Other than that, everything about the hotel was phenomenal.”

“I had a wonderful stay here! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure we felt at home. The food was not only delicious but also very affordable — such a great surprise! One of my favorite parts was the beautiful forest surroundings, where is thewe could see hummingbirds flying around all the time. It was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend! ”

“Cedrela is nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica. It was easy to navigate there. The accommodations are clean, but the standout of Cedrela is the restaurant, Al Mercat. We had a fantastic meal and ate nearly everything on the menu (advice - go with at least 5 people so you can effectively share!). ”
