“This place is on the third floor with no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage’s up and down. The door code was not emailed to me as booking, had to contact the owner for the code ,which was provided wrong to me at first, caused the door to lock for a while. And then it was the right code. The bed sheets aren’t very clean for both rooms. And the guess rooms door is hard to shut it close. ”

“I ALWAYS expect and practice water conservation in West Texas. Its just part of being in the area. My only complaint, and a rather gross one, was the shower in the roadrunner cabin not draining. Even with just barely turning the water on and turning the water off when lathering, only turning water on to rinse, i was left standing in ankle deep dirty water. Its very gross. Otherwise, this was a fantastic visit. I just dont know if I'd recommend this cabin because of the shower conditions. ……

“We loved the coziness and comfort of the property. We especially loved the very low traffic and safe, quiet feeling of the neighborhood. We also like its close proximity to anywhere we needed to be in Canyon. I do need to say, though that the only thing I’m not caring for when renting a privately owned property is that I have to strip the beds empty the trash and take it out. I can understand having to do my dishes, yes. So then with the cleaning fee and all I am paying the same as for a hotel……

“A WOWZER of a trip and stay. The Blue Color is a sure giveaway when arriving and arrival instructions were perfect. Such a homey decor with two beautiful bedrooms. House reminded me of grandparents house and just felt RIGHT. We were there to enjoy the Canyon, but that was only a couple of hours, so we enjoyed a relaxing time. It is on a highway, but minimal noise which was great. Strongly recommend this beautiful house if visiting the Canyon, TX area ”
