“The boxcar is very cozy and cute! It was a quiet, rejuvenating place to rest after traveling. We all slept well, enjoyed a hot shower and the friendly dogs. There were horses and foals at the farm too (though we only observed those :) ) I think we would have loved a few more nights!”

“This property is a gem. A cute little hideaway. Love the name of this home. Very fitting. Decor is cute with little knick knacks are all around, love the guest book idea. This home is super clean and has a homey feel. Very comfortable bedding and furniture. Host has put alot of time and thought into making sure guests are well accommodated with all the necessities needed for a home away from home. Host is very communicative and has a very fast response time messaging. ”

“Glenda's Downtown Bungalow was a spacious, spotless, and tastefully-furnished home base for exploring Palo Duro Canyon. Well-equipped kitchen and laundry, master bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed, and the blackout shades worked beautifully keeping out the bright morning light. Jack-and-Jill bathroom had a nice shower flow with quick hot water and soft, luxurious towels. “Had our parents stay with us as well as our son that goes to WT. Had our 3 dogs as well that enjoyed the backyard. Unfortunately our 4th dog had to stay at home because only 3 dogs are allowed. But nonetheless it was a great stay.”

“We were about 30 minutes to Palo Duro State Park and an hour and 20 min to Caprock Canyon State Park, and about 30 minutes to Amarillo. Kid friendly, dog friendly and safe neighborhood. I would stay there again if I am up in that area again. Will recommend to family and friends! ”

“When we drove up we thought oh no. House looked in bad need of outside makeup. BUT!! things changed when we opened the door. Home was very clean, and has lots of character. Lots of unusal antique pieces, amenities were great. Nice game room but we did not have time to enjoy the ping pong or or other games. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“We had a very nice stay. The house was stock full of everything you would need while vacationing and was clean, comfortable, cozy and had just enough space for my family of 5 and my brother's family of 3 but what made it super special was stepping outside to stunning views of Palo Duro canyon!! You can't beat those views just spectacular!”

“Clean and comfortable. Just what we were looking for, to get away from Dallas. Palo Duro was shut down due to rain. So we improvised in Canyon. Saw a show at the university. Hiked at Cap Rock instead. Watched the cows and a jackrabbit from the back porch. We would stay here again. ”
