“We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter.”

“The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. Paper products provided……

“We booked this escape as a 1/2 way point between family in NJ and MA and what a hidden gem it is! Dog friendly was a priority, but the magic of this place was a welcomed surprise. All weekend we commented on wishing we stayed longer and that we must come back to really enjoy the property and cozy feel that warms the soul! “A short drive up a gravel drive is this cozy little glamp-site, clean and rustic, with enough amenities for those who are looking to connect with nature but who prefer electricity and running water. If you need to work or stay connected there is working WiFi. The common area is comfortable and roomy but modest. The hosts Justin and Kylie are very friendly and highly responsive. I brought my dog with me and we enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep. I would absolutely recommend this little gem to……
