“This cabin is beautiful for those who love the sound of nature with quiet, peace and relaxation. The screened in porch with a river view was our favorite spot. We sat on the dock every day watching for wild life. We got to see a little gator who loves to sit on the downed tree off the dock area. This is country setting not far from restaurants or Wakulla Springs but still far enough away to escape the city life. The property had everything we needed. The location of the property to FSU was a short 30 min drive which was convenient & kept us out of downtown away from all the college students celebrating the end of the semester. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Governor’s Cabin. We were in Tallahassee for FSU graduation and wanted something unique, and this is just what we were looking for. It’s very relaxing and only about 30 minutes to Tallahassee. The cabin is rustic and has all the amenities. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean.
