“In terms of being immersed in nature, this is a great place to stay! The owls were amazing as were the consistent views of shore birds flying up and down the river. The screened in porch was a phenomenal area to spend time when raining, buggy or too hot out. We stayed cool, dry and bug free within it. Floyd's comical information binder was incredibly helpful. The proximity to St. Mark's allowed us tons of biking opportunities. The extras, like toilet paper, shampoo, lotions, etc were generous……

“We rented the awesome place to be the staging area for our daughter’s wedding. We had a bridal luncheon and the rehearsal for the wedding at the spacious and beautiful property. It had everything we needed to make this wedding weekend incredible. Steve was so awesome to work with and that made our stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend renting this for any big occasions you might have .”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Twisted Pine cabin with our 2 dogs. The cabin had everything we needed and then some! We appreciated the snacks, chicken and duck eggs, and especially the homemade chocolate chip cookies. The screened in porch is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to/watch the birds. We loved the peaceful and remote location, yet we were still close to the FSU campus. A perfect stay!”
