“Location is great - right on the water and walkable to everything. Amenities and furnishings are very sparse; less furnishings than shown in pictures. Limited kitchen items; no coffee pods for Keurig, no salt & pepper or any other kitchen items that you’d expect in a vrbo. Sheets and towels low quality; not luxurious by any means. Rented in December so a bit chilly and no rugs in unit for warmth. No thermostat or HVAC. Two small wall heaters. Parking is tough at the beach so was a hassle every……

Didn't have the right code to get in the unit so called to figure out after the laundry lady let us in. The lady who called really didn't care about my concerns that we were using a code to our unit that others had and when i tried to get a word in was told i was being loud which I wasn't then was told it was my tone so she just wanted to be right. “Immaculate apartment with beautiful view of Pacific sunsets. Enjoyed using the pool, hot tub, firepit, minigolf and gym. Easy walk to beach. Great communication from the owner. Friendly and helpful staff at front desk. A very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay!”

“Cathy great to work with but we got a less than ideal location with view of a street and stop sign. I asked that we be moved to a better location when we checked in but we were told that the resort was full, too bad so sad. I appreciated Cathy giving them a call but to no avail. Otherwise the Aviara is a knockout in stunning Carlsbad. I’m a bit nervous about booking in the future as I was told that owners will get priority locations. This may have been a one off unfortunate situation as owners……
