“Moonrise Cottage is a perfect place to escape every day stress and chaos. The remote location is very quiet and worth the effort. Cottage itself has a an eclectic decorating style. It’s got everything you need. Heidi is a wonderful host. I had lots of questions about directions etc. to get there and she was very prompt in answering and very clear on how to get there. My wife and I plan to return to this oasis.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this Escondido Casita. The hosts were fantastic—checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, but never intrusive. Their kindness and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for.The Casita itself was perfect for our needs. I’m currently living with Stage 4 cancer, and mornings can be very challenging for me. “I truly loved our stay at the farm. We stayed in the Bunny Hill property. Our favorite part was the hot tub. It was perfect!! The house was ample and fit our entire party of 7. My daughter really enjoyed walking down and feeding the animals; the alpacas, the goats, the peacocks and the chickens. We also enjoyed going down to the chicken coop and picking up eggs for breakfast. The location was very remote and serene. This location is perfect for those that want to get away and indulge in nature……

“Very nice back yard casita. Very quiet neighborhood. We didn't have any contact with the owners in the front home. The front of this casita faces the rear living room of the main home which felt somewhat awkward going to and from, but we weren't there much anyway and just used it to sleep in. Everything was as it appeared in the photos except the bed is not a pull down but standard comfortable queen size bed. Both homes and yards appear to maybe recently be redone and its easily the nicest home……

“Overall, this is a great property with good proximity to the Pacific Beach area (far enough away from noisy bars if you prefer).The unit is smaller, but still cozy and well furnished. Fans and A/C come in handy for warmer days - as does the front deck and BBQ grill. Some of the appliances are a little outdated by modern standards, but they still function well when you need them.”

“We were in town for the 4th and a baseball tournament. We absolutely enjoyed our time at the cottage. It had all the amenities we needed and was a short walking distance from the beach and bay area. Perfectly located for shopping and dining. We will definitely be back.”

“Relaxing around the firepit and taking in the SD air! Everything is walking distance. We enjoyed the Water Bar the most which faces the pacific but if you want ocean view make a reservation very romantic watching the sunset.”

“We enjoyed our one week stay at the cottage. It was as pictured, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent - a short walk to the beach and numerous restaurants. Having a dedicated parking spot was a big plus as street parking is at a premium in the area. Stephany was great to deal with - we had a couple of issues over the weekend and she responded right away.”
