“We had a great stay at the hotel, the room was comfortable, good range of tea and coffees. There was no running water when we checked in (and disappointing that we weren't told this at the check.in desk) but it was resolved within the hour. No robe and towel for the spa in the room so we had to dash back and forth there. The spa should close at 8pm on Saturdays but we were asked to leave at 7.40. This was made up for by being able to use the spa after check out the following day. The……

From the small red door to come in, to taking my shoes off inside, the classical music playing on entrance, the beautiful fireplace and welcome area, the suit of armour, the staircase, the 4 poster bed, the free standing bath...I could go on and on but this is possibly my favourite hotel I've ever stayed in. “Receptionist was very helpful I liked the more relaxed eating arrangements and food was good and hot and a good selection. Although i did not need it, the bathroom in assistance room would be better with a walk in shower. Great to have a bath. Plenty of room for both”
