“Stayed over for one night passing through on a cycling trip. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful storing and charging our bikes. Only open for B&B but fortunately the local tearoom opens on weekend evenings for meals. Well stocked community shop next door and community pub at the end of the street. Great village and area.”

“Very nice and the owner and service staff was fun. The food was great and the gardens were so pretty. Good place if going from Dumfries to Glasgow and need a intermediary place to stay. The service people were funny and pleasant also. Great place to drink Shackleford Whiskey!”
