“Septic system sucks. I was on the 4th floor. I'm guessing they only have one plunger because it took them 40 mins to come to my room with one. By then I had already got the toilet to flush. “You absolutely cannot beat the location! The view from our room was directly in front of the Colosseum and you could watch the Cattle Drive from the room. It’s not the fanciest hotel, but the bed was comfy, the room was clean, the water in the shower was hot, and the room was roomy with two dogs and their kennels. It really was a great room for the weekend! We contemplated The Drover but we knew we’d be out of the hotel for the majority of the trip so we just couldn’t justify the ridiculous……

I did not mind the spotty cell service (my provider) as I just wanted peace. And the welcome basket had incredible honey cinnamon raisin sourdough bread! If you want a lovely, quiet stay, you can't do better.”
