“Great place to stay. Brian was very helpful and communicative - checking in to see if we needed anything at appropriate intervals. Would definitely recommend if considering any activity on the Kickapoo river!”

“Everything was perfect”

“If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax”

“Cozy comfortable cabin with a fabulous view off of the patio. This was perfect for my wife and I. We spent a lot of time outside reading and relaxing. The bucolic setting was offset by plenty of activity within a half hour. We hiked, biked, and kayaked. The cabin is clean and comfortable. Definitely a 5 star stay. ”

We thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of the winding creek and the surrounding bounty of nature. We look forward to staying there again - this time for a few days longer!!”

“Clean, quiet and magical. This place is amazing. We kayaked, took bike trails, and explored. This is not the hustle type of vacation it is relax and unwind. The patio area with a fire pit and picnic table was a pleasant surprise. Visit Peaceful Valley Haven and Hillsboro Brewery while in the area. ”

“The property is quite secluded and down a very long and narrow gravel road, so getting to and from Viroqua and activities took longer than we anticipated. But the host provided detailed instructions for finding the place. We loved the seclusion and surrounding woods. The house is beautiful and smells like fresh cut pine. “Our stay at Westby Hideaway was perfect! We planned a motorcycle trip to the La Crosse area, so this cabin in Westby was a great location away from the inner city traffic. This area is a beautiful place to enjoy the motorcycles. Carol and her husband were more than accommodating to us being on the motorcycles. The cabin was stocked with all the essentials we needed, like shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, and so much more. All the things we didn't have to worry about packing on the……

“The cabin is nice and we loved the location. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the outdoors. The cabin was in a very nice secluded area but also it was close enough of a drive to enjoy area attractions. It is a three level cabin and gave us plenty of space to move around. We were lucky enough to see two does and a fawn in the yard. ”

“We had the pleasure of getting a little snow during our stay which was awesome.But the roads from the cabin were sloppy with the melt the following day and we had trouble getting out to go for a grocery run. Kirsty and Kyle were very helpful and were kind enough to bring us some coffee and flour. Really great folks and a very beautiful and private location. Great space to reset from reality. Highly recommend.”

“Quiet and cozy cabin across the street from the Kickapoo River. Perfect size for two to take a quiet getaway for a time. Much to see in the Readstown and Viroqua area and Kickapoo Valley. Excellent hiking trails, restaurants/ bars and shopping within a short drive. LeAnne was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again in the future.”

“Great place. Had everything we needed. Everything was up to date and it was very clean. Plenty of parking and appreciated the exterior electrical outlets as we were hauling a boat. Very comfortable stay.”

“We stayed 2 nights over the 4th of July. We loved the cabin and had a lot of fun. The owners are amazing and were so helpful and communicative! There is one downfall of the property and that’s that there is no central air, only 2 window AC units and considering we stayed when it was over 90 degrees it wasn’t ideal. The customer service and amazing cabin did make up for that issue. ”
