“This was a beautiful cabin and a great location for fishing the Driftless. Cabin was spotless and comfortable. We’ve stayed in many different VRBOs the last 4 years in and around Viroqua and the Arcadian was by far our favorite. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cabin. If you’re looking for peace and quiet you’ll find it here. Our favorite part was sitting on deck chairs in front of the cabin and listening to the birds singing and the clip-clopping of the horse-drawn Amish buggies passing by. We also enjoyed going to some of the Amish stores and businesses, and hiking around the lake at Sidie Hollow County Park.”

“Beautiful, peaceful, interesting, and lovely location and property. Lots of birds and deer. Nice trails. Cabin was quiet, quaint, and private. Visitor Center staff were kind, engaged, and knowledable. Neat displays and information. Enjoyed learning about Norwegian heritage and history. Property manager provided great communication. Signage to property was also helpful. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again.”

“Cozy cottage with enough room to sleep at least 10 people. Full kitchen to make all meals. Very clean and super cute. We had a relaxing couple of days over Thanksgiving weekend. It was cold but we hiked Wildcat Mountain, the Ice Cave Trail as well as many spots in the Kickapoo reserve. Beautiful Amish country with cool antique shops around. We visited Wildthings Furs right around the corner and bought affordable furs. We also found some treasures at the Amish Walmart. The reception is……

“This beautiful and well decorated cabin is absolutely perfect for a getaway! We brought our dog & it was a completely great dog friendly property. We hope to come back when life allows because we didn't get to enjoy everything that was offered!! Amazing place & great communication from the host! ”

“If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax”

“The cabin is in a great location right across the road from the Timber Coulee. It had everything we needed for a couple of nights in April. The view out the front windows, in the morning, goes well with morning coffee. If the weather had been warmer, we would have spent the evenings on the front deck.We will return. ”
