“My second time at the H & F. What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely tasteful rooms, superb food, incredible staff and most important of all an excellent choice of locally brewed well kept ales. ”

“Clean and quiet. The staff are helpful. Fully equipped kitchen and dry room for wet clothes. But the air quality inside the eight people dormitory room is poor because the window is small. ”

“Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked.”

A credit to Cumbria, exemplifies the fact that Cumbria is putting the Great back into Britain ✌️☮️🐇💋🌈”
