“Overall we enjoyed the home. The outdoor area is very nice. The host was very responsive to our questions and concerns. We had issues with ants and evidence of mice during the stay in the kitchen. Unfortunately this wasn't able to be corrected during our stay. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned well when we arrived. The host offered to send the cleaning company out the next day which was appreciated but we declined the offer. ”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The space was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was pretty well stocked in both pans and staples. We were disappointed, however, with how full the freezer was with food, almost to the point where we couldn’t store what we brought, and the refrigerator was fairly filled as well We also would’ve liked if the campfire chairs had been better maintained, but the grill worked well. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and felt it was a very good value.”

“This was a great spot for a college reunion of 10 guys. We jump around from year to year, but are planning to come back here. We were all amazed at the construction of the main house and it's giant pine logs. (Suggestion: hire a professional photographer to represent the place better on this site.) “We came for a meteor shower, to find a cloudy sky. But the cozy home, clean air, and quiet made up for it in spades.I was honestly surprised when we checked in, the photos provided made the home seem much older than it is. Instead, we found a house that looked almost like it'd never been lived in. It was clean and well-kept. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything we used worked well.My only real complaint was that previous renters did not clean the kitchenware as well as they should……
