“My wife and I were in need of some time away from our work. This property was perfect. A quiet retreat in the woods away from the Shenandoah National Park crowds. The house was cozy and warm. The wildlife was plentiful and active. We enjoyed walks around the property, hikes up the hill, and drives around the local area. We made it over to DuCard Vineyard for some music and wine which was great. We did head up to Skyland and Big Meadows, but the crowds at all the sights were too much. We did……

“We had the pleasure of staying in the cottage the first weekend in October while we were part of the Graves Mountain Apple Festival. The cottage was situated on a lovely property surrounded by trees. Every amenity was well thought out - from toiletry items, plenty of paper products and towels, coffee and tea, even breakfast!! “What an amazing Friendsgiving weekend! The house was perfect - ssooo much room & even though it was chilly outside we were still able to enjoy the lakefront! The paddleboat was extra fun to get out on the water for a bit. The kitchen was AMAZING plus the kitchen area in the basement an added bonus. Beds are super comfy. I would highly recommend this home.
