“Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again.”

“The location was great! Easy walking access to the many quaint and unique shops, restaurants and much more. The staff was always friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable and the on-site restaurant, Alto was excellent. A great place to start your day with breakfast, end your day on the beautiful outside terrace with a cocktail ( or mock tail ) When booking a room definitely request one with a view of the bay. “The Longfellow is a great option in Portland--it's quiet, comfortable, clean, and within walking distance of everything. It is not in the Old Port area, which made it more desirable to me, but it's only about a 15 minute walk to downtown and the port area. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay!”
