“We drove by The grand American and thought it was our hotel so we got a little disappointed coz the hotel is a few cottages on the outside, not particularly appealing. But the lobby is grand and the room is spacious, as shown in the photos. We love the double sinks. ”

“very interesting suite. Large space but super 80's interior decoration and ecectrical appliance. Bed quality also seem and sleep like 80s Concierge very friendly~”

“Great stay and great hotel - the breakfast and pool were just what we were looking for and the entire hotel was very clean and staff very friendly! Convenient to everything downtown, would definitely stay again.”

“This location was perfect for walking to the venue where the concert my daughter and I were going to. I was concerned about additional driving and parking but this was the perfect location and walking at night was not a concern. Courtney at the front desk was amazing and made us feel like family. ”

“Very nice historic landmark with beautiful detail inside. Parking is the typical modern additional guest tax( expensive) to add onto the room rate. Any room below 7th floor on even side will be trash view unfortunately. Very convenient location and beautiful bathrooms in the suits.”

“The curtains in the room could not be drawn up. The lights outside were on at night, and the next day dawned very early. For people with sleep disorders, it was impossible to sleep! We informed the front desk manager that night, and he said someone would come to fix it. But he didn't come until midnight. We went downstairs again in the early morning to ask, and the front desk lied that the repairman had come, but now he was off work and couldn't fix it. We didn't sleep all night! The front desk……

“Kitchen is a nice plus, but could hear the people upstairs constantly walking around late at night. and making a lot of noise. I informed the front desk, who said they’d call the room that there’s been a noise complaint. Honestly, probably won’t stay again for that reason. ”
