“This was a very cool place to stay for a couple nights while I hiked Yosemite (tho it's about a 90 minute drive to the park, but it was a beautiful drive so I didn't mind it). It's off the beaten path (and back some windy roads). It's a cool layout with the kitchen/laundry downstairs and the open area loft above with the beds and couch/TV. Only one thing I missed and that was a microwave. Nice selection of restaurants just a few miles from it. Host was very responsive to my texts. ”

“Very peaceful and quiet. Appreciated the firm mattress in the master bedroom. My constructive criticism would be to replace the sofa in front of the TV which we found to be uncomfortable. There is an another very comfortable sofa facing a window however!”

“The house was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding nature and view of the stars was awesome. Pat was a very friendly and accommodating, host and gave us many suggestions on places to see. We had a wonderful experience!”

“Very clean and close to attractions”

“Great home right in downtown Mariposa! Clean, comfortable, all the amenities with easy access to Yosemite area. This house was great for my family of 3 and puppy. Nice layout, great kitchen, comfortable beds, easy parking, safe, walkable. ”

“Nice quiet place near town but far enough out to be peaceful. I would stay here again!”

“It was a cozy stay for my family and I. The place has everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen and a lot of towels and blankets. The furniture were comfortable. The place was cleaned and it was in a good location. I would like for the place to have more lighting since it was hot and the drapes were closed to keep sunlight out.”

“Stephanie had everything we needed (and more) at the Sierra Sunset Cottage!New heating/cooling systems in each room made it comfortable and easy to adjust. We only slept in the king bedroom and it made both nights quite restful, plenty of closet space and nice light-blocking shades. The queen room looked nice as well, although it did not have a mirror for getting dressed. Kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, and I appreciated the thoughtful items like a lantern and ice chest, lint roller and……
