“My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at the Fox Den to celebrate our anniversary. The location is conveniently 20 minutes from the nearest town, but just far enough away that it feels very remote. As of July 2025, many of the main parks in the area are still recovering from Hurricane Helene damage, but that didn't stop us from finding open places to explore, as the Fox Den is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home is already equipped with basic necessities such as paper towels,……

“This is a nice cabin high up in the mountains. It’s a beautiful area and the cabin was a great place to rest for the week. We were still able to go on adventures that were about an hour away from the cabin. I would highly recommend this if you enjoy a secluded area all to yourself.”

“The place was 20 mins from a grocery store and we had to search for wifi sign in that we found tucked in a junk drawer. Garbage dump was a 15 min drive away and had to do it daily due to bears. Some things were broken, garbage under twin bunk beds and some clothes left behind on floor in bedroom and it smelled musty. Overall, could of been better but worked for the time being.”
