“We thoroughly enjoyed the property at Palmetto beach. 4 adults stayed in the Sunrise cottage. The accommodations were clean and a perfect size for our party. We rented the bikes for 2 days and then a golf cart for the rest of our time. The island is not that big, however we are in our 50s and it was just too hot to walk to town. Weezies is a short walk on the way to the dock and drinks / food can be purchased at their cafe, although it is expensive and the drinks are weak and the food was……

“Caye Caulker Boutique Guest House is amazing! The location is perfect. It is a short walk or bike ride from everything, yet tucked away in a beautiful location. There is a dock a few steps away. The pool is very clean and refreshing. The apartment was spotless. There are bikes to rent. The AC worked great. Filtered drinking water was provided. The best part was the staff. “We loved staying here so much! The villa was perfection with everything you need. Kitchen fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. There is a Fire TV for all your streaming needs as well as a dvd player with small selection of dvds. We also loved the swimming pool which was warm and refreshing and shaded for most of the day. “Where do I begin? Although it was located on a Main Street with good access for food (groceries/restaurants), it was embedded in a neighborhood with constantly barking dogs (keeping us awake at night) and dilapidated structures. The immediate views from the roof were deplorable, lots of trash, debris, and the remnants of golf car repair parts. In the distance, the Caribbean Sea can be viewed. The inside of the unit was dark with old furnishings. Some of the cabinets had missing or broken……

“Our stay at this property was just what we needed after activities from the day. It is a small distance from the hustle and bustle of town. My husband and I like to walk and explore and choose not to rent a golf cart which was very doable. Diane and Crystal were very attentive and knowledgeable of the area. ”

“The apartment is in a great location. It’s the best part of the rental. The manager was wonderful and responsive , and accommodating when we needed it. The place could benefit from some updating , the pictures look better than the actual state of the furnishing. One of the bathroom does not have a shower curtain which is not super easy to shower ( you have to either be careful or sit in the bathtub) plus if you are tall you will touch the ceiling ( my son is 6’2 he had to do some bending). “The grounds were very well maintained on a daily basis. Landscaping is wonderful, large trees to provide shade, house iguanas, and give a Belize jungle vibe. We met a lot of fun people while sharing the kitchen area. Our host cared for our needs, ranging from our golf cart rental to restaurant suggestions. She invited us to share a meal and visit. The room was cleaned regularly. Our shower was outside under a tree. Which was pretty cool.”
