“We stayed at this cozy house for a week and it was perfect. It was in the country so we felt like we got away, yet it was close to Traverse City for dining and shopping. We enjoyed fishing on several local lakes as well exploring the area. The home was clean, comfortable, and great getaway for two. ”

“First of all, the house is spectacular! It’s well appointed, comfortable, clean, and would be great for larger groups, too. It couldn’t have been any better for location, a block from the beach, short, walk to downtown, easy drive to great restaurants and wineries.The large patio in the back right on the river was a perfect place to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine.We will definitely be coming back to this lovely little spot.”

“We had the best time at the Shingle Shack! The house was spacious and comfortable. It is has a very homey feel to it. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is a great little market within a few minutes drive that we v bought all of our groceries at. The kayaks were fun to take out into the lake. The beach fire pit is going to be hard to top for all future vacation rentals. We did not use the bunkhouse during our stay. The lake is absolutely beautiful.Perfect for swimming,……

“We had 10 adult family members stay for the weekend to attend a family members memorial. House was clean. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for our group. Loved that we could walk to fish town for dinner. When at the house there was plenty of space for us to hang out together. Perfect for all our needs as far as being together, getting ready to attend the memorial and hanging out to share memories. ”

“The cabin is in the jungle by the lake, and the air is very fresh and quiet. The room is very comfortable to live in, especially the sofa and bed have a strong sense of wrapping, which is very soft and comfortable. Cooking can be done in the room, and the homeowner also has some seasonings with complete tools. It's worth mentioning that I didn't drive, I walked there. When I asked the landlord to borrow a bicycle, she readily agreed and quickly parked it outside my house. Before leaving, I asked……

“The property is needing some updating. Master bathroom fan needs replaced or fixed (extremely loud), could use some updtaed and new linens/pillows for the rooms. Additional smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors needed throughout house. Kitchen utensils and cookware in need of updating. Would've been nice to have a small tv within the smaller bedrooms.The property location was great and in walking distance to most everything. Had plenty of room for 6 adults and a dog.
