“We had a wonderful family getaway at this quiet lodge. We particularly enjoyed spending screen-free (mostly) time relaxing on the patio and in the hot tub with the fire going nearby. ”

“Turning 42 I was not looking for a turn up. I wanted peaceful and relaxed. That is exactly what I got. Check in was an easy process. The only problem that I had was I read the code incorrectly, and Communication was slow, but other than that getting into the property was easy. There is a shared driveway that I was not prepared for so be cautious when inviting people and having multiple cars, parking is limited to roughly about four or five cars. After that, you will have to park along the grass……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming home, it had lovely gathering spaces with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and parking for our group that came from all directions. The location was a new area of Durham for us, but very easy to get downtown and to both of Duke's campuses. Ended up being the perfect place for us to reconnect, highly recommend!”

“I had never done a VRBO before and this was a fantastic first experience. The photos and description are spot on. Everything in the home is labeled and set up for low stress. The owner was kind and responsive. I was the only adult with 5 tall teen boys and they slept comfortably and they loved the chess board and seating area. The coffee bars, popcorn maker, and games were such fun touches.We were very close to Duke and downtown Durham. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and already……

“Good hotel right in downtown. Cool architecture. Splendid public spaces; lobby and rooftop. Large room, pretty spare. Serious about their coffee. Would have been nice if staff had assisted us unloading to check in during a torrential downpour. Several staff standing around inside. No one assisted. Had to come in to borrow umbrella. ”
