The house was just as described and had everything we needed for cooking in, relaxing outside, and grilling. I was very pleasantly surprised with the neighborhood in Phoenixville. Bridge Street, a short walk from the house, is open to pedestrians only on weekend evenings and had lots of nice shops, restaurants, and live music. There are plenty of cafes all around the……

“So first off the neighborhood is very city. So if you are not okay with being around drug addicts this is not ideal. The hosts were very responsive, but the conditions of the property were not what I expected. I did stay for 2 of the 3 planned days because I did not have anymore money to spend on a room. The bed had bed bugs, the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling wrapped in tin foil, the fired alarm had been tampered with, there was a blood stained pillow in the hall closet and the shower……

“House was roomy and extremely clean. Conveniently located 20-30 minutes from Franklin Field and downtown Philly. Host was easy to communicate with and friendly. Will stay here again! ”

“Check in was easy. Place was clean and tidy. Location was convenient for our visit. It's a residential neighborhood, so not very walkable to points of interest. Unit did not have proper bed sheets, just a fitted sheet and a comforter, no top sheet. I'd also recommend placing a wastebasket with bags in the unit so we can keep the place clean during our stay. Advertised washer and dryer did not exist (consider updating listing). It's a basement apartment. The upstairs unit seems like it was also……
