The 3 kids took the downstairs floor with two beds and my husband and I took the second floor. No air conditioning but not needed with the ceiling fans and screened windows opened. Incredible views of the volcano and lake. The porches are great. No tv so we brought a couple of games and played theses in the……

The host was very accommodating with some last minute scheduling changes we had due to issues with our flight. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area. ”

“This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. “This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane……
