“The property was full of character. Very spacious with several areas to relax inside and outside. The food was excellent on both breakfast and evening meal. The bedroom was spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. ”

“Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again. ”

Comfortable room with lots of electricity plug in points for charging phones, computers etc which is a pleasing change. Lovely large shower with powerful rain hail. Room was immaculately clean Excellent all around, definatly recommend and will use again ”

“Quiet hotel. Soundproofed. Central for everything. All attractions nearby - city walls - a quick and interesting way to get to cathedral and historic centre. Spoilt for choice for restaurants. All staff lovely - reception, breakfast and cleaning staff friendly. Beds excellent. Shower hot. Good value. Couldn't fault it. I'd say negative reviews have been unlucky.”

“The inn brought me home to Wales and was a shelter from a storm within a warm community. Dai will go above and beyond to care for his own and strangers. “quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value. ”
