“Antares Homestay is a gem in the heart of the Marlborough wine country. The inn keeper Mandy is wonderful and focused on making guests feel like family. She greeted us and provided a tour of the property and amenities. We stayed in the blue room which was large and quiet. Options for either A/C or enjoying the breezes from the gardens and vineyards. “The motel is located in a tranquil area, conveniently near the city centre. The room is clean and spacious. However, I wish the hotel manager were more welcoming and less calculative when guests ask for small extras, like 20ml of shampoo or one extra toilet roll. Additionally, the portable kitchen stove is not very effective.”
