“Beautiful mountain setting, horse pasture out front. Friendly, helpful staff. Had to figure out why wi-fy wasn't working. Had to bring our own Keurig. Couldn't get to streaming tv. Tiny kitchen, few dishes.”

“thanks, you so much for a wonderful stay. the cabin was beautiful, clean and we loved it. the only issue I would say is trying to get out of the driveway. in a large truck, there was not a lot of room to maneuver and if we had had a second vehicle, I don't know how that would have worked due to the fact I am not use to such tight steep driveways. Overall, the cabin was amazing. thanks, you so much for a wonderful stay”

“We loved the Big Oak Cabin! It had everything we needed for a fun mother/daughter weekend. The beds were comfortable and the sectional couch was perfect for watching movies. The kitchen table was large enough for six of us and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner. Loved the location being so close to downtown Black Mountain and a 10 min. drive to the grocery store, but it still felt like we were in the mountains. ”

“We loved our time here! We had plenty of space and had everything we could have needed in the kitchen. The beds were great and there was plenty of light for old eyes. There were lots of books to read (and good ones too) and plenty of games to play. Communication with the host was great too! We will be back! Thank you!”

“Dreamy little cabin. Carefully designed to meet all your needs in a small but very pleasant space. The drive up the road was a little daunting for a city person with a low slung car. Very considerate manager. Enjoyed both front and back porches.”
