“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here ! The loft apartment was very clean and well appointed with everything we could need. The apartment was more spacious than I expected. Just a short walk down the yard to the small beach and dock, and we spent great hours kayakng and just sitting on the beach. Kristine and Scott were very friendly, helpful and great to get to know a little. We will definitely be looking to visit and stay there again ”

“We had a great stay at Edgewater Retreat. Our family of 5 (adults) were in the area for a wedding. The house was just 10 minutes away, which made it so convenient for the festivities. Everything was just as described. The kitchen was well stocked. Our only issue was the coffee maker didn’t work, which I think was damaged due to recent storms (we let Chris know and he was going to replace it). Thankfully, the house is equipped with a generator because we were hit with a wicked storm while at the……

“This property is a wonderful place to stay if looking for beautiful sun rises and sunsets, beautiful views, and quiet, peaceful surroundings. The home was spacious and wonderful. We loved the central room, containing a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room (open floor plan). This room allowed everyone to be together and enjoy home cooked meals and lively conversation. We spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the river, barbecuing, and spending quality family time together.”

“We loved our stay at Heron's Hideaway. The house was immaculately clean. The host provided lots of accommodations - plenty of clean towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap, pool towels, etc. Kim was great to work with and responded to all of our communication immediately. The house is a perfect spot to camp out and relax. We visited a couple small beaches within an hour of the house, and Williamsburg but could easily see staying at the house the whole time between the pool, dock, and kayaks. ”

“Overall this was a very pleasant stay and experience. The best part was the very responsive and helpful host. The house was pleasant and had enough beds although I do recommend paying attention to the fact that the double bed room requires walking through someone else’s bedroom which was somewhat awkward for all adults. Would be ideal for a family with kids! Location is very remote but perfect if you’re planning on staying at the house/pool/river. Wonderfully quiet and away from crowds. A bit of……
