“Richard was the ultimate host. Responsive and accommodating. There was a last minute issue with the original unit we reserved and Richard notified us ASAP with a detailed explanation. He then proceeded to move us to the other unit without even asking, which had amazing views of Cranmore mountain. The unit was clean, quiet and in an excellent, centralized location to skiing, shopping and restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay and will be looking into booking again for next year’s trip.”

“3 families enjoyed our stay at the Tree House! The lay out of the house made it very comfortable for our families to have privacy and plenty of space, while still joining together for meals, games, etc. The kitchen was well stocked. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the pans, etc. We skied and went tubing at Gunstock Mountain. We also went to the Ice Castles in North Woodstock. Wonderful Feb. break...we would recommend this house.”

The location is a short drive from Cranmore, Black, Wildcat, Storyland, etc., and is in a quiet area with no nighttime shenanigans, which was appreciated after a long day skiing. “The property and house were beautiful, however, it was advertised as four bedrooms. I assumed that all four bedrooms would be heated, but the one in the basement did not have heat. This would be an amazing summer rental, but the bedroom in the basement could not be utilized and people had to sleep on the couch upstairs where there was heat ”

“The view was great. It was quiet and is a terrific location for traveling the area for hiking and leaf viewing. The place is like a rustic lake cabin. Dont expect modern finishes or furniture. Clean overall but some carpet stains. Really think they should tell you on the listing that you have to provide your own sheets and towels. I happened to see someone mention it in a review and checked with the owner ahead of our stay. Would hate to arrive after long journey and not have them.”
